Fran Cahill

Courage companion, author and sociolinguist.

Fran’s life long ambition is to remain curious about everything and retain wonder and compassion as her viewing lenses on life.

As a student of and ultimately a commentator on language used in society, Fran recognises the ultimate power of words to empower, influence, pass judgement or wound in an instant.

Baby Boomerdom landed on her as a surprise and the universe of ‘elderly’ people is a place she is now inadvertently inhabiting.

With humour and warmth, she is an eager participant in the conversation about what health and well-being in ageing looks and feels like.
